‘35/’36 Ford.

...would seem to fit the bill.

It looks like a mid-30s Chevy to me, but I’m no expert on the era so I could be wrong. Here’s a ‘36 Chevy for comparison.

1936 Ford Covertible Sedan looks like a match:

The decisive factors that said “Ford” were the side strakes/vents, the windshield frame, and having a four-door convertible with “modern” hinging. The Chevy has similar vents but strikes out on the rest. Also, your pic doesn’t look like any Chevy I’ve seen, but a Ford.

Windshield frame is different. It would probably be the phaeton instead.

You nailed it. I was looking at later Fords and they didn’t have the same strakes, but for some reason I didn’t compare the ‘36s against each other.

Damn that was quick. Thanks! I am not good with these older cars at all

Different frames on the “Club cabriolet” and normal four door convertible sedan, according to Wikipedia. I believe the one in his pic is the fancy one.

Ah I see, the one you found indeed matches better, I focused mostly on the chrome stripes and the fenders to be honest, so I missed the windshield difference.

Either way, a pretty classy looking car.
